Seeing London through children’s eyes

By Mara 8 Comments

At various points on our trip to England I let the boys have my old point-and-shoot digital camera. It’s fun to browse through their pictures and see what they captured. Today I offer a few of my favorites from a day out in London. (Please note that I’m leaving out many photos of people’s behinds, including some especially flattering ones of my own. You’re welcome).

I think they did a great job capturing different memories from your trip.

Thanks Rachel and Jen – I like that picture too. It’s not often that we’re photographed together!

Wow, well done, boys! My kids take cameras on trips too, but I end up with a lot of photos of the sides of walls and the interior windows of cars!

Great idea! I think you have some budding photographers on your hands.

I’m impressed! Love the kissing shot, so romantic! Although I imagine it was accompanied by a lot of “yuck” and “gross,” if your boys are anything like I was as a kid.

Our cousin is studying abroad in England right now and I shared your posts with her. She is documenting her trip for the students she teaches here: http://acrossthepondwithmissfink.blogspot.com/.

    Have a great weekend 🙂

Do you remember the area names and streets you visited? Disregarding the castle and old streets.
