Remember that kid in your neighborhood who always carried Hot Wheels cars around in a plastic case? Maybe he (or she) had them sorted by color or make. If you were like me, it was always fun to admire the cars in their neat little compartments. The Petersen Automotive Museum has a display that’s like one of those cases – times about a million. You can admire over a thousand cars, watch old TV ads, and even see the wooden models that were used to create some of the vehicles.
We had a great time at the Petersen on a visit to Los Angeles last spring that also included a trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific. And what do these two locations have in common you might ask? Both are included as part of the Smart Destinations Go Los Angeles Card – which you could win (while also helping to build a village in India) as part of the Passports With Purpose raffle. But only if you hurry – you have until December 13 and not a moment longer!
