In honor of summer win a Hydro Flask from VacationRoost

This giveaway is closed. Thanks for participating!

I know that it’s not officially summer yet but with schools finishing up and Memorial Day a faint memory, I’m definitely in my summer groove and looking forward to fun family trips to Wisconsin, Maine, and Vermont. Are you dreaming of your summer vacation but don’t have plans yet? I hope that in the coming weeks and months you can find some inspiration here, as I’ll be sharing some expert summer tips and stories in partnership with Vacation Roost.

Vacation Roost

What makes VacationRoost a great place for travel dreaming is that you don’t need a plan when you arrive there but can search for a vacation rental based on the type of trip you want to take (Beach of course makes a logical choice at this time of year, although I’m also a fan of summer vacations at ski resorts – love that cool mountain air). You can also of course search by destination, and there are plenty of them: VacationRoost offers rentals in over 85 destinations around the world. Every property is professionally managed, and they also offer phone support if you’d like to talk to someone about your rental or are having trouble choosing. The site itself is easy to use, with photos and descriptions of each property as well as a tool that lets you check rates and availability.

Hydro Flask I’ll be writing posts about family travel topics both here and at the VacationRoost blog in the coming months. To celebrate that new partnership and in honor of summer and staying hydrated at the beach, today I’ve got a 21-ounce Hydro Flask to give away courtesy of VacationRoost. I’m a big fan of always bringing along refillable water bottles for each member of my family when we travel, and as someone who has road tested any number of them I can say this one is a winner. It’s sleek and a little stylish, lightweight, BPA free, and durable. It keeps beverages cool for you now and will transition nicely for some hot chocolate in the winter months, especially since it has a nice wide top.

To enter, leave a comment below sharing where you’d like to stay this summer by 5 p.m. EST Friday, May 31, 2013. Good luck!
