When we were in Arizona for spring break, we visited the Musical Instrument Museum, one of the best museums I’ve ever visited anywhere. I’ll be sharing the full story of our experience there next week but thought you might like a photo preview. Here Teddy is playing “Hot Cross Buns” on an Indonesian metallophone in the Experience Gallery of the museum.
In other exciting news, on Friday (that’s today!) from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. I will be appearing on Radio Times, which is broadcast from WHYY in Philadelphia. I’ll be joining up with a couple of other travel writers to talk about fun things to do with kids around the Philly area (my focus will be on Delaware). If you can’t listen live, I’ll be posting a link to the show afterward.
For Photo Friday at Delicious Baby. Have a great weekend!

I've taken with my children and those I want to take. Explore and you'll find family travel tips, information about vacation destinations, and lots of stories about our adventures!

Can’t wait to hear more about the Musical Instrument Museum – my girls would love it! Hope the radio show went well.
Good luck on the radio today!
Congratulations on your radio appearance!

This is why I love Arizona! There’s so much to do and see. I barely scratched the surface when I lived in Chandler, Arizona from 2007-2010. It’s the perfect family vacation because there’s always a festival (free) happening in one of the cities in the East Valley (Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, and Scottsdale). Free activities help families stick to their vacation budget.
Bookmarking this! My in-laws are getting ready to move to Arizona. We’ve never been before but can’t wait to visit and start exploring. Thanks for the link to this cool museum…we are a music loving family so this will certainly be on our list of places to visit.
