I ask you: What goes better with a national icon than a snow cone?
After we toured the United States Capitol we walked down the hill to the National Museum of the American Indian for lunch and an explore (full report on that next week). As we were entering the building, the boys spied an ice cream truck and of course had to have a treat, which we promised on the walk back to the car.
This created a picturesque moment until it started to melt and ended up all down Teddy’s front. It was a nice look for dinner that evening. I’m glad the lighting was dim.
For Photo Friday at Delicious Baby.
P.S. The picture would be even nicer if the fountain had been full of water…
P.P.S. If you ever need to make an emergency potty stop on the northeast side of Capitol Hill, the Russell Senate Office Building works just fine. Just make sure you’ve got one parent to take you inside and another to hold the dripping snow cone.
