Mondays are for dreaming: The original dream

Note: For the next few weeks as I prepare for some changes at the Mother of All Trips, I’m going to be sharing older content and photos. Hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane!

Sunset in Kinsarvik, Norway

I don’t remember how the idea of Monday dreams popped into my head, but I do know that my very first post on this topic was published in September of 2008 (without a photo or a sharing widget!)  and talked about the town in Norway from which my husband Matt’s family emigrated to the United States. I’m happy to report that this dream will become a reality in the summer of 2012.

Since that day I’ve published 128 Mondays are for Dreaming posts. In fact, I didn’t miss a single Monday in 2010. Today I share a few of my favorites, but I also wanted to say a huge thank you to the other bloggers who have come along on my dreaming journey for the past 31 months. I hope you’ve all enjoyed it as much as I have – and I hope you’ve got lots more dreams to share, because I know I have!

Without further ado, here are some dreams I’m especially fond of. (And if you’ve got one of your own to share, please do so using the form below the links):

  1. I LOVE that your family is planning a trip to Norway. The photograph is so beautiful. I really want to sit on that bench and contemplate that view… for a week!

  2. Oooh I would love to guest dream sometime. Hope to connect with you soon.
