One thing that looking backward has reminded me is that not all of our trips have been hugely successful. While I do try to focus on the positive here, I’ve also been honest about the things that really didn’t work or the times I really screwed up. For example, who could forget the time I left Teddy’s most precious love object in a hotel room near the Philadelphia airport? (Happily that story has a happy ending as the photo above demonstrates).
