They don’t look all that scared, do they?
This picture is a preview of the catch up work I need to do from some of our spring travel. It was taken outside of the Arizona Museum of Natural History, a favorite spot that we make sure to visit every time we’re in Mesa. Inside there are models of dinosaurs which look much more realistic and which sent my Little Chick scurrying. They also had an exhibit about poop, and really, what can be better for a seven-year-old boy than that?
I hope to blog about a number of day trips like this one in the next couple of weeks before we leave on our big summer road trip. A day-trip-a-looza if you will, from Arizona to Philadelphia to Wilmington, Delaware.
But for now, I leave you with two happy boys and one big purple plant-eating dino. For Photo Friday at Delicious Baby. Please visit there to see the many other wonderful travel photographs on display.
I've taken with my children and those I want to take. Explore and you'll find family travel tips, information about vacation destinations, and lots of stories about our adventures!

Your boys would get on so well with mine!! Looks like you’ve had lots of fun on your roadtrip!
My 5 year old still hasn’t worked out the difference between monsters and dinosaurs and so he’s pretty freaked out by large-skeletal structures. But perhaps, by the time we make our way to that neck of the woods, he’ll be over it. Never know.
Cute shot!
We love dinosaurs but this one is way too cool!

Sculptures from auto parts. We had one around here (supposed to be fine art) but I like the fantasy use better. The kids look like their having a ball.

I will be in NYC in mid-July but I think you will be on the road with your family at that time. My timing is bad… I would have liked to have met you for coffee somewhere in your part of the world.
