A little love for MOAT

I’ve been feeling my way around this blog thing for about six months, and I have to say, it’s been lots of fun. What started out as a way just to use some of that book I wrote has turned into something much more. It’s gotten me dreaming of all kinds of places on Mondays. It’s gotten me out of the house most Fridays with Teddy (although keen observers will note that I have changed the title of those posts to Out and about with kids). It’s connected me with some wonderful travel bloggers, an entirely new set of friends who share the same passion I do. And most importantly, it’s given me a chance to share my stories and to hear yours.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading The Mother of All Trips as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. If you have, I ask you now to show a little love by visiting the Divine Caroline website, signing up (it only takes a minute I promise), and voting for my site as the best travel blog. It would mean a lot for a personal blog like mine to come even close to winning there.

Next Monday I will be posting my 100th blog post. I’m planning a week-long celebration where I look back over the travel I’ve done so far this year and what I’ve learned from it, with some old and new stories to share. If you want to make sure you don’t miss out, please subscribe to my rss feed or use the box in the upper-right corner to sign up to receive posts by e-mail.

I’ve got big plans for MOAT and I hope that you will come back to see what happens as they unfold. Thanks – and happy travels.
